YOUR LIFE A-Z: CALL

24/7 CALL OUT TO THE UNIVERSE

CALL

CALL the Battle cry.  Make your voice known.  Speak into thin air that which you need.  CALL your name out and see how that sounds hearing you call to yourself by name.  There are times when you need to CALL your name in firmness just like a parent called your name when you were in danger.  “___________, Stop that.”  There are also times when you need to CALL your own name gently.  For instance,  “__________________, I hear you are upset right now.  Tell me what you are feeling.”  To speak aloud our own name or to speak aloud that which we need is one way of being proactive in being present in your life.  CALLING aloud your own name is a way of declaring that you exist and that you mean business.  CALL your own phone and leave yourself an encouraging message or a reminder as to what your current goal is.  It is also important to CALL for help.  When you are in an emergency situation, hopefully you don’t think twice about calling 911.  What makes you wait until your emotional pain is unbearable to call your therapist or a friend?  Part of this Twenty Minute Coach process is to recognize that it takes a village to live a happy productive life and that you don’t have to stay stuck in a vacuum.  CALL into existence what it is that you need. Use your voice to speak deliberately and with conviction that which you declare that you want now. CALL out!

YOUR LIFE A -Z:NAVIGATE

NAVIGATE YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY

NAVIGATE

Where are you headed?  Have you considered that your life is going nowhere because you have no direction or map as to how to get from point A to point B?  A life with direction, goals, dreams, and desires requires navigation, which is a science of reading a map and a compass.  If you are a big ship out in the middle of the ocean, that feels absolutely wonderful if the captain of the ship is on course and knows how to NAVIGATE this big vessel to its location.  But if a big storm comes and blows out the NAVIGATION center, sitting in the middle of the ocean is no longer wonderful.  It becomes frightening and scary because there is no direction to move forward.  We need to re-direct the NAVIGATION system.  Use our internal resources to know the four directions, get in charge of this aimlessly floating vessel with action, and a call to for help.  There is no shame in asking for help with NAVIGATION.  It is hard to stay directed in the middle of a big ocean.  It is important to re-direct your life’s decisions and choices often.  When your children hit a milestone, it is time for moms and dads to re-access where they are headed.  When a job becomes boring or a relationship painful it is time to re-access yourNAVIGATION and get things moving again in the right direction.  You don’t need to float aimlessly in your life.  Get help to move where and what you need to move.

YOUR LIFE A-Z ACTION

LET THE INSIDE OUT. CELEBRATE WHO YOU ARE.

ACTION
We have been at the twenty-minute coach for twenty-seven days now.   We are twenty-seven days into the New Year and I know what you are thinking, “What happened to all of those New Year’s resolutions?”    In order for us to accomplish anything, “action” is required.  Take a deep breath.  Now, focus on your breathing and count ten breaths, slowing inhaling and slowly exhaling. Next write down the first action words that comes to your mind that you want to accomplish this year.  Notice how you feel about that action word.  Is it true?  Do you really want to __________________?   If not, chuck the word.  No half-hearted goals for this year.   Choose to focus only on goals in which you have a vested interest.  If you choose something that you should do, you are going to fail, so stop setting yourself up for failure.  Choose an action word that brings you excitement.  Now go and do it.

Your Life A-Z GO

GO! The Sky is Your Limit.

GO

Go is an action word.  Go after it - as in, fetch it from yesterday.  However, did you know that GO is also a game, a very ancient Asian game?   It is a game of black and white round stones with simple rules that allows its players to enter a meditative state of focus.  It is often said that you will not get where you are going unless you focus on where and how to get there.  Where are you going this year?  How are you going to achieve your desired goal?  See, if I had chosen the word "goal" for the first “G” word of the year, you could have easily felt burdened.  “Oh my, do I really have to work so hard at this?”  So, I chose a playful word again.  “Go,” literally means don’t stay.  Move.  Get up.  Change your position.  Go.  Get on your mark, get set, and go!  Go forward now. Take another step toward your goal.
